Amatrol 87-MS2 Gauging Station
Station 2 of the Amatrol 870 Mechatronics Learning System. This station teaches automated go/no-go gauging, part transfer and reject logic, and PLC-based sequencing for inspection workflows.
This equipment is reserved for educational purposes and cannot be independently reserved. For access or more information, please contact the Lab Manager.
System Capabilities
The 87-MS2 Gauging Station is a quality-inspection workstation that teaches automated go/no-go gauging, part transfer, and reject handling in a PLC-controlled line.
It integrates an operator station, traverse shuttle, ultrasonic and proximity gauging modules, part transfer and reject modules, and finished parts storage.
Operating Modes
Go/No-Go Gauging
Automated gauging using ultrasonic and proximity measurement modules.
Part Transfer and Reject
Transfers accepted parts and routes rejects to the reject module.
Traverse Shuttle
Non-servo linear axis positions parts under measurement tools.
PLC Station Sequencing
Manual/auto/reset sequencing through PLC ladder logic.
