Keyence WM-6000 Wide Area CMM

A portable wide-area coordinate measuring system that uses an optical camera unit and wireless probes for large-part inspection. The WM-6000 series supports contact probing for dimensional measurement and optional laser scanning for shape capture.

Keyence WM-6000 Wide Area CMM
Measurement Range Up to 25 m (series)
Tracking Range Camera rotation +/-120 deg
Laser Scan Speed Up to 2.4 M pts/s
Connectivity WLAN / Bluetooth / USB

System Capabilities

The WM-6000 series is a portable wide-area CMM designed for large-part inspection, on-site measurement, and 3D data capture. It uses an optical camera unit to track wireless probes for dimensional measurement and shape scanning.

Measurement range depends on the configured model. For example, the WM-6210 camera unit specifies a measurement range of 10,000 x 3,500 x 5,000 mm (W x D x H).

Operating Modes

Contact Probing

Wireless contact probe for point and feature measurements.

Laser Scanning (Optional)

Laser-scanning probe for dense surface capture and shape measurement.

Wide-Area CMM Mode

Large measurement volume with camera rotation and tilt tracking.

Single-Operator Measurement

Portable system designed for single-person measurement of large targets.
