We use the Shining3D Einstar 2 handheld 3D scanner. Minimum object size: 10 × 10 × 10 mm (Laser HD) / 50 × 50 × 50 mm (IR Rapid). Practical max: ~1 m per axis. Objects over 1 m require prior approval — contact the lab manager.

4. Sample Drop-off & Pickup

1. Drop OffBring your sample or object to the lab at your scheduled time. Staff will hold it securely.

2. We ScanLab staff will process your object and notify you by email when the scan is complete.

3. Pick UpReturn to the lab to collect your sample and scanned files. Bring a USB flash drive.
